Bluebonnet Competition

On Tuesday, February 21st, five MJHS students attended this year's District Bluebonnet competition.

The Bluebonnet competition celebrates students who participate in the Texas Bluebonnet Award program, a statewide initiative that encourages 3rd - 6th grade students to read at least five of the 20 books included on the Bluebonnet Award master list and answer questions to demonstrate their knowledge and comprehension of the 20 Bluebonnet Award contenders.

The students that participated are: Isabella Guerra, Alyssa Lopez, Izabella Lopez, Lillian Marroquin and Ethan Zamora. We thank these students for representing Mission Jr. High and our librarian Ms. Isabel Garza for sponsoring them.
