Dear Parents,
We hope your summer has brought you relaxation and rejuvenation. Thank you for your efforts in completing the online registration process. If you have not had an opportunity, please do so as soon as possible.
This past year brought many successes in academics, athletics, UIL and in our fine arts programs. Thank you for your continued support in all areas of our campus.
It is our goal to take our Professional Learning Community at Mission Junior High to the next level this year. As a campus, we continue with the Teach Like a Champion 3.0 process incorporating 62 techniques that put students on the path to college. We will also introduce the Leader in Me process which teaches our students the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. It is our intention to equip our students with knowledge and skills that will prepare them to lead our world.
Our goal continues to be one or two in all we do! I cannot wait to witness how our students thrive in the avenues of their choice as they dominate 21st century skills in leadership, knowledge, language, and technology as we inspire and equip them to excel in all they do.
Please note that attendance matters more than ever. We are still addressing opportunities that were presented as an outcome of the pandemic. We encourage you to remind your children of the importance of attending school, being attentive, and striving to be the best version of themselves.
Please note MCISD is doing all we can do to be your district of choice. We are dedicated to providing the best instruction while also tending the socioemotional health of all our students.
We will be hosting Meet the Teacher on August 16th. Details will be forthcoming.

7th - Red
8th - Blue
